Training course on Groundwater Governance in India

India’s dependency and resulting vulnerability concerning groundwater resources is increasingly becoming critical. It is a dire need to relook and rethink the way we have thought about water resources (especially groundwater) until date. Although groundwater contribution to drinking water supply, public health, agriculture and livelihoods is colossal, there is very little understanding about the governance of this invisible, yet a common pool resource.

ACWADAM’s course on groundwater governance attempts to look at these issues and understand the various dimensions linked to governance, management, administration and institutional framework for groundwater in the country

Duration: 22nd Jan - 15th Feb 2018, Evening 6 to 8 pm (Monday to Thursday) Fee: Rupees 400/-
